      The cells are the exact replicated cells you have in your text book. 

      The first column is all Magnesium in hydrochloric acid. Remember, Mg will react in acids, not bases or neutral substances. Hard to tell, but in the first column, there is a bubbling, fizzing reaction occurring for cell 1A. Cells 1B, 1C, and 1D all have nothing happening (only the top left cell has a reaction occuring for Mg HCl in other word).
