After reviewing the pyramid of hate, watch this video to jog your memory about how Hitler rose to power in Germany. As you watch, brainstorm a list of what Hitler did leading up to the Holocaust or use highlights to colour code them.
Alternative, here is a list of Holocaust Events events to spark your memory.
Then, plot those events on a blank copy of the pyramid of hate.
Using your notes from the last unit, reflect on the Canadian government's treatment of Indigenous Canadians. Write a list of 20 events related to that relationship and plot them on a blank pyramid of hate. When you're finished, write a paragraph reflecting on the following quote:
